We had an overflow crowd for our Annual Meeting and Mayoral Debate Monday evening February 29th at the Norris Center. The Planning and Development Committee recently met to review the City of Naples 2007 Vision Plan, the Comprehensive Plan along with the Land Development code and other relevant zoning and planning documents and to establish goals for the upcoming year. As reported in the Naples Daily News on Friday, the Executive Director of the Naples Airport signed a contract Thursday morning, October 15, with Elite Airways for commercial service to Newark, NJ. Here are some of the key points: terms were negotiated and the contract signed without the knowledge or endorsement of the Naples Airport Authority Board.
